Anti-Spam Policy

Anti-Spam Policy

Effective Date: 18 May 2025

At HostingRoo.com, we are committed to ensuring that our network and services are free of spam. We take a zero-tolerance approach to spam and expect all clients and users of our services to comply with applicable anti-spam laws, including the Spam Act 2003 (Australia) and other relevant international legislation.

1. Definition of Spam

For the purposes of this policy, “spam” includes—but is not limited to—unsolicited bulk or commercial messages, including email, instant messaging, SMS, and other digital communication channels, typically sent to recipients without their explicit consent.

Spam includes:

  • Commercial email sent without the recipient’s permission

  • Bulk promotional emails to purchased or harvested address lists

  • Phishing, spoofing, or deceptive content

  • Unsolicited messages via Office 365 services or contact forms hosted on our servers

2. Your Responsibilities

If you use HostingRoo.com’s services (including cPanel hosting, Office 365 accounts, or domain-related services), you must not:

  • Send unsolicited bulk emails or messages

  • Host or promote spam-related content

  • Use third-party mailing lists unless you have verified opt-in consent

  • Forge email headers or sender information

  • Operate open relays or proxies for spam delivery

All commercial electronic messages sent through our network must:

  • Clearly identify the sender

  • Contain accurate contact information

  • Include a functioning and clear unsubscribe mechanism

3. Mailing List Guidelines

You may send newsletters or marketing messages only if:

  • You can prove the recipient gave informed and verifiable consent (opt-in)

  • You provide a simple way to unsubscribe or opt out

  • You immediately remove recipients who unsubscribe

Failure to comply may result in the suspension or termination of your services.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

HostingRoo.com actively monitors our network for potential spam activity. We may take immediate action—including service suspension or account termination—without notice if we detect or receive credible reports of spam-related abuse.

We also work with third-party blocklists and reporting services. Repeated violations may result in permanent blacklisting.

5. Reporting Spam or Abuse

If you believe a user of our services is sending spam or abusing the HostingRoo.com network, please report it to:

📧 abuse@hostingroo.com
Include full email headers and any relevant information.

6. Penalties and Consequences

Breaches of this policy may result in:

  • Immediate service suspension or termination

  • Forfeiture of any prepaid fees

  • Legal action, including cooperation with law enforcement or regulatory bodies

7. Policy Changes

HostingRoo.com reserves the right to update this Anti-Spam Policy at any time. We encourage you to review it periodically to ensure ongoing compliance.
