1. Introduction

At HostingRoo, we are committed to keeping our network and services free from spam. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to spam and expect all users to comply with relevant anti-spam laws, including the Spam Act 2003 (Australia) and other applicable international regulations.

2. Definition of Spam

“Spam” includes—but is not limited to—unsolicited bulk or commercial messages sent through any digital communication channel without the recipient’s explicit consent.

Examples include:

  • Commercial emails sent without permission

  • Mass emails to purchased or scraped lists

  • Phishing, spoofing, or deceptive messages

  • Unsolicited messaging via Office 365 or contact forms hosted on HostingRoo infrastructure

3. Your Responsibilities

If you use HostingRoo’s services (including cPanel, Office 365, or domain/email services), you must not:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages

  • Host, promote, or link to spam-related content

  • Use third-party mailing lists without verified opt-in consent

  • Forge headers or sender information

  • Operate open relays or proxies for spamming purposes

All outbound commercial messages must:

  • Clearly identify the sender

  • Provide accurate contact details

  • Include a visible, functional unsubscribe link

4. Mailing List Requirements

You may send newsletters or marketing emails only if:

  • The recipient has given informed, verifiable consent (opt-in)

  • You offer a clear and easy way to unsubscribe

  • You promptly remove unsubscribed users from your list

Failure to meet these conditions may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

HostingRoo actively monitors its network for spam and related abuse. We may take immediate action—including suspension or termination—without notice if spam activity is detected or credibly reported.

We also work with anti-spam databases and blacklists. Repeated violations may result in permanent service bans or IP blocklisting.

6. Reporting Spam or Abuse

To report suspected spam from a HostingRoo user:
📧 abuse@hostingroo.com
Please include full email headers and any relevant logs or evidence.

7. Penalties and Consequences

Violations of this policy may result in:
