1. Purpose of This Policy
HostingRoo supports community organisations by providing free cPanel web hosting to eligible charities and not-for-profits. This policy explains eligibility criteria, application steps, and sponsorship conditions.
2. Eligibility
Applicants must:
Be a registered charity or not-for-profit in Australia
Provide proof of status (e.g., ACNC registration or government-issued documents)
Operate a website compliant with HostingRoo’s Acceptable Use Policy
Note: Political organisations, commercial businesses, and personal projects are excluded.
3. What’s Included
Approved applicants receive:
One free cPanel shared hosting account matching our standard plan
Standard technical support per our Support Policy
Free hosting for 12 months, with annual renewal subject to review
Domain registration and third-party services such as Office 365 are not included.
4. Application Process
Applicants must submit:
Organisation name and ABN/ACNC registration details
Website URL or planned website description
Contact information
Brief summary of mission and website purpose

5. Conditions
HostingRoo may accept or decline applications at its sole discretion.
Sponsorship can be revoked or suspended at any time.
Sponsored accounts must comply with all HostingRoo policies and terms.
Organisations must notify HostingRoo of any status changes that could affect eligibility.
6. Renewals
Sponsorships are reviewed annually. Organisations may be asked to verify ongoing eligibility and update their information accordingly.
7. Modifications
HostingRoo reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be published on our website and take effect immediately. Continued use of sponsored services constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
