Hosting Roo Terms of Service

Applies to: All customers of Hosting Roo


1. Definitions

  • Service: Hosting, domain registration, Office 365, or related services provided by Hosting Roo.

  • Customer: The individual or entity entering into this Agreement.

  • Account Owner: Primary contact responsible for the Customer’s account.

  • Authorized Contact: Any individual granted limited permissions on the account.


2. Eligibility & Acceptance

By using Hosting Roo, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years old.

  • Have legal authority to enter this Agreement.

  • Agree to comply with all applicable laws and Hosting Roo policies.


3. Services Provided

Hosting Roo provides:

  • Web hosting via cPanel

  • Domain registration, transfer, and renewal (reseller services)

  • Microsoft Office 365 licensing (reseller services)

Services are subject to availability and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued without notice.


4. Account Registration & Ownership

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact and billing details.

  • Safeguarding your login credentials.

  • All activity under your account.

The Account Owner has full control and may add Authorized Contacts with limited access.


5. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Use of services must comply with Hosting Roo’s Acceptable Use Policy.

Prohibited activities include spam, phishing, malware, pornography, piracy, resource abuse, illegal or misleading content. Violations may lead to suspension or termination.


6. Payment Terms & Billing

  • Billing cycles: monthly, annual, 2-year, or 3-year.

  • All services auto-renew by default.

  • Invoices are issued electronically.

  • Services may be suspended for overdue payments and terminated if unresolved.


7. Refunds & Disputes

  • Hosting plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee.

  • Domains, Office 365, and third-party services are non-refundable.

  • Billing disputes must be raised within 60 days of the charge date.


8. Cancellations

  • Customers may cancel anytime via client portal or support.

  • No cancellation fees apply.

  • Data is deleted upon cancellation completion and cannot be recovered.


9. Backups & Data

Hosting Roo performs server backups; however, customers are responsible for their own backups. Hosting Roo is not liable for data loss or corruption.


10. Uptime Guarantee & SLA

99.9% uptime guarantee with service credits available for downtime as follows:

Requests for SLA credit must be submitted within 7 days of the incident.


11. Limitation of Liability

Hosting Roo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of business, income, data, or service disruptions beyond our control. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 30 days.


12. Suspension & Termination

Hosting Roo may suspend or terminate accounts without notice if:

  • You breach these Terms or the AUP.

  • Payment remains overdue beyond grace periods.

  • Legal or abuse complaints are received.

Data may be deleted upon termination.


13. Modifications

Hosting Roo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting. Continued use of services indicates acceptance.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in Australian courts unless prohibited by law.
